Kingussie’s annual winter festival FOOD ON FILM brings the big screen to the beautiful Highlands of Scotland in a unique way, to celebrate and explore the world of food.

The annual festival, held in May, is run by Skye Accordion and Fiddle Club.

Inverness Music Festival is a competitive festival in March covering speech, voice, dance and instrumental.

An opportunity to present the results of recent field projects and research, raise awareness of local archaeology, history and heritage and encourage people to discover the historic environment of Highland.

Lectures, activities, films, workshops, music, theatre, book readings, speakers, art and photography celebrating mountain culture in the heart of the Highlands.

Belladrum Festival is looking to attract artists who will create site-specific installations and sculptures that excite, move, intrigue and inspire, while respecting the environment and interacting with festival goers. Closing date for submissions is 28 May 2011.
