A new concept to the world of writing – FutureBook Fest otherwise known as FuBooFest- is coming to the north of Scotland.

Re-Living ALIVE:xperience is a theatrical fashion show featuring the designs of Harriet, Matilda and Jemima Kirkwood which is to take place on Saturday 24th September 2011 at 7pm at Grantown Grammar School.

Mellis: Stokes – Colour and Form takes place from 1 October – 12 November 2011 (Tues – Fri 10 -5 & Sat 12- 4) at the Collins Gallery in Glasgow.

An Inverness multi-storey car park will be transformed into a cinema with a difference during the 22nd-24th September.

A short series of talks, events and performances is being presented at the Pier Arts Centre, Stromness this week to highlight Japanese art and culture. The events will also be an opportunity for people to hear first had accounts of the earth quake and tsunami and their disastrous aftermath that hit the North East of Japan in March.
