A new exhibition of drawings by Ron Sandford opens in Da Gadderie at Shetland Museum and Archives this weekend (15th October – 20th November 2011).

Inch Kenneth is an exhibition by artists collective 6°WEST which is taking place at St. Oran’s Chapel, Isle of Iona from 15th – 22nd October 2011. (With an opening event – from 2-3pm on Saturday 15th October).

Donnie Munro is to take part in the annual Strathpeffer Pavilion Art Fair this year from 24 to 27 November.

The Scottish artist Christine Borland and the New York based artist Brody Condon are to give a talk on their work at the Pier Arts Centre on Wednesday 19 October at 7.30pm. The artists visit to Orkney is supported through Creative Scotland’s Vital Spark programme as well as by Symbols in a Landscape, a flagship project of the Year of Scotland’s Islands.
